CUSTOMER satisfaction levels are shooting through the roof for Solihull-based George Wimpey West Midlands – with 100% of customers on current developments saying they would ‘recommend the company to family and friends’!

The results are from year-to-date Customer Satisfaction surveys across 14 sites in the region, which are independently carried out by the National House Building Council (NHBC), whose primary purpose is to raise standards in the new house-building industry. Questions such as ‘quality of home’, ‘finish of home’, ‘service before moving in’, and ‘home handed over exactly as expected’ also scored 100% for the company.

Sales & marketing director Carol Edwards says: “It’s fantastic news and proves that we do strive to consider the end-user from the outset. What’s more, this is against a backdrop of far greater competition and a better educated consumer with an increased awareness of what is available in the new homes sector.

“Our production director, Stuart Payne, is adamant that every home be treated like it was his own and says a ‘right first time’ approach will ensure that customers stick with us for many years to come – and commend what we do to family and friends. “Our overall score last year was 95% and we challenged our people to better that and they haven’t let us down – indeed we now have the best customer satisfaction results of any region in the Taylor Wimpey group nationwide.”

The company is currently building in Shirley, Smethwick, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Telford, Coventry, Rugby, Stratford and Warwick. For further details on developments across the West Midlands region, telephone 0121 703 3400, or visit www.georgewimpey.co.uk.
