The property market is being boosted by sellers who put their properties on the market for the right price, it is claimed.

Jane Marr, director at the Little House Company, revealed that it has taken a while for some people to realise the value of their properties in the present day.

"They see other homes in their areas with lower prices and are now getting in line with the competition," she claimed.

Ms Marr also encouraged mortgage lenders to put competitive products on the market to make sure people are able to buy the home they want.

"This would help boost the market," she stated, emphasising the need for confidence to be returned to a greater extent.
