The government has announced the location of the first four eco towns.

They will be at Rackheath in Norfolk; north west Bicester; Whitehill-Bordon in East Hants; and the China Clay Community near St Austell in Cornwall.

Developers in the four successful locations will be able to bid for a share of £60 million to support local infrastructure. The government wants to see six more eco towns follow these.
