Those looking to act quickly on property investment plans may want to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday.

Philip Lacey, sales director at David Wilson, reminded prospective homebuyers that they could stand to save up to £1,750 on residences worth more than £125,000 if they make the purchase before the end of the year.

"We have witnessed hundreds of purchasers save themselves a substantial amount of money during this break," he added.

Those living in Leicester who are concerned about affordability and looking to upgrade their living arrangements may want to take advantage of the developer's Wellington Court houses in Ibstock.

In addition to what could be saved by acting fast, potential homeowners could find the price of the Pembridge-style three-bedroom property - £158,995 - a good deal.

Families could appreciate what the developer says is a generous and "thoughtfully planned" layout spread over three storeys.

Those who live in the Walsall area may also be interested in new three-bedroom show homes from the developer that have recently been opened for viewing.
