The town of Gorseinon in south west Wales could provide an ideal location for a young professionals, or for the family.

Boasting its own educational establishment, Gorseinon college - which from summer of next year may go through a merger and mean a new college for the Swansea region - currently offers A and AS level qualifications, as well as vocational courses.

The town is to the north west of Swansea, approximately six miles away from its city centre.

It is situated near the Loughour estuary and if you combine this area with the surrounding areas of, Garden Village and Penllergaer with the town of Gorseinon, it has a population of over 19,000 people.

Persimmon is currently offering some deals on its homes in the area, which include more room for the family options, as a free conservatory can be added to the home up to the value of £10,000.

Other added perks include blinds and flooring throughout, turf in the back garden, multiple kitchen appliances, master bedroom wardrobes and a £250 towards legal costs with one per cent stamp duty paid.

Conditions do apply to all of the aforementioned offers and are available only on certain plots.

Persimmon's Tenby plot, Bryngwyn Village Phase 4 has one bedroom apartments, which contain a separate living room, kitchen and dining area, one bedroom and bathroom, as well as parking facilities.

It also offers two bed apartments and up to four bedroom properties suitable for families, which include some three-storey townhouses.

Buyers would be near the village high street and the Loughor Estuary, along with the Mumbles and Gower National Park and beaches.

The development is only a number of minutes away from Junction 47 of the M4, meaning that not only are the properties affordable, with a one bed apartment priced at £94.995, but practical in their location.

With such a range of homes on offer at this development, the area is worth a look for those wanting to get their first step on the ladder in a luxurious home, or families tempted by the extra space offered by the free conservatory add-on.
