Buying an affordable home is possible, according to Barratt as it presents its new West Heath development this weekend.
This Saturday (October 24th Oct) the developer will launch its Westminster Place properties for its HomeBuy Direct scheme from 10:00 BST.
Graydon Worthing, sales director for Barratt West Midlands, commented: "Buying a new home can be a confusing time, whether it is your first or fifth time. This is why we are offering homebuyers the chance to come along to Skyline this weekend to find out more."
He added that the company's sales negotiators will be available throughout the event to inform prospective buyers of how they can use the HomeBuy Direct initiative.
Mr Worthing said that the scheme is perfect for first-time buyers or homeowners who are looking to upgrade for more space.
With HomeBuy Direct customers can benefit from government assistance, receiving as much as a 30 per cent equity loan on an eligible property from the builder. If a property is priced at £149,500, this means that the buyer could move by just paying £104,650 at the offset.
Barratt was established in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1958.
