One house builder in the north Midlands is set to hold an event showcasing
affordable homes that should appeal to first-time buyers.
James Poynor, sales director at Barratt North Midlands, explained: "We frequently get people coming through our doors who believe they can't afford to get on to the property ladder on their current income and in today's financial climate."
He added that with Barratt this does not have to be the case as the first-time buyer homes that the company has on offer can be combined with one of the incentive deals from the brand to help out.
The open days will run from Saturday and Sunday November 14th and 15th, with sales staff on hand from 11:00 GMT until 18:00 to answer any questions you might have.
Mr Poynor said prospective buyers could also take advantage of the newly released mortgage packages from the likes of the Nottingham, which is currently offering a 95 per cent loan-to-value product.
Barratt was established in 1958 and also encompasses David Wilson Homes.
