George Wimpey Manchester has introduced a new housetype at its successful Hey Mount development on Mount Street in Heywood.
With four spacious bedrooms spread over three floors, Mobberley townhouses are perfect for growing families or for people looking for extra space around the home. Prices for the Mobberley housetype start at just £164,995.
Included on the ground floor are an open plan kitchen and dining area, plus welcoming hallway and a downstairs WC. The first floor features a generously sized lounge, a family bathroom and one of the four bedrooms. The lounge overlooks a private garden.
Three of the four bedrooms can be found on the second floor, including the master bedroom which has its own en-suite shower room. All Mobberley homes come complete with an integral single garage.
Would be buyers with their sight set on a new home at Hey Mount can take advantage of George Wimpey’s EasyMover package, which was recently expanded to include a free House to Home removal service.
Under the Easymover scheme George Wimpey manages the sale of a buyer’s existing house for them, including instructing the estate agents and paying any additional costs associated with the move, such as stamp duty, legal costs and estate agents’ fees.
And under the new House to Home element of the scheme, George Wimpey will also organise and pay for a removal company to transport a buyer’s belongings to their new home.
Anthony Mansfield, George Wimpey Manchester sales and marketing director, said:
“With EasyMover, buyers will have everything arranged for them in a fully-inclusive moving package that includes full packing and unpacking as well as insurance cover for free.
“This is a great incentive for people looking to buy a new home. Not only does it relieve customers of many of the costs involved with the whole house moving process but it makes the process as simple and stress-free as possible from start to finish.”
EasyMover isn’t the only scheme available at Hey Mount. The government’s successful HomeBuy Direct package is also being offered on a limited number of two bedroom apartments.
Under HomeBuy Direct buyers are provided with an interest free equity loan for 30 per cent of the property, co-funded by the Homes & Communities Agency and George Wimpey. For a limited period only, buyers do not need a deposit of their own to take advantage of the scheme.
The scheme is aimed at helping purchasers with a household income of less than £60,000 afford the home they want subject to affordability checks.*
At Hey Mount HomeBuy Direct is being offered on the Geneva, Lacy and Lyon apartment types, with prices starting at just £62,995.
However, the company is warning that the scheme will only be available at Hey Mount for a limited period so potential purchasers need to register their interest as early as possible.
Hey Mount is situated within walking distance of Heywood town centre.
The location is ideal for those who enjoy the great outdoors, with the historic Queens Park located in the heart of the town, and Hopwood Clough Nature Reserve in Middleton just a short drive away. Heywood also enjoys some beautiful countryside with Ashworth and Roch valleys just on the doorstep, or for the golf lover Manchester, Springfield Park and Castle Hawk golf clubs are all within a 10 minute drive.
It is also ideally located for commuters to Manchester, Bradford and Leeds, as well as those travelling further afield via Manchester’s Piccadilly train station. The development is located close to the M62 motorway, which connects to the M60 and M66 and in turn the M61, M56 and M6. A regular bus service also operates from Heywood into Manchester and its surrounding towns, including Bury, Oldham and Bolton.
