With the housing market picking up, smart movers are signing up now to own a home at Wenlock Square, Taylor Wimpey’s brand new development in the heart of Shropshire.

Wenlock Square, close to the open countryside and the exciting benefits of nearby Telford, will comprise homes for all types of buyers, including one and two-bedroom apartments, and two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, with prices ranging from £115,000 to £370,000.

By registering their interest now, prospective purchasers will receive details of the first properties as soon as they are released – and by reserving off-plan, customers can stamp their style on their new home, choosing kitchens, appliances, tiling, floorings and lighting to be installed as their property is built, ready for their move.

Wenlock Square is part of Ironstone, a brand new sustainable village community at Lawley comprising four distinct neighbourhoods, a bustling social hub, classical architecture and open spaces.

The quality of the homes being built at the growing community was given the thumbs up by local MP David Wright, who, during a recent visit to the site, said: “New build properties are greener, cheaper to run and better value for money, which is a welcome change in a period of such uncertainty.”

The Ironstone community has also been carefully designed to integrate a range of new facilities, including its own central square with designer shops, trendy wine bars and eateries, a mixed-use village centre and a primary school, as well as a wide choice of affordable homes.

For commuters, the village is well served by existing and new public transport links while the M54 and M6 are a short drive away.

Telford – the largest town in Shropshire – lies less than three miles from the development and is home to a vast array of leisure opportunities, including a large shopping centre and the accompanying town park, a multiscreen cinema, bars, cafes, restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

Homes at The Forge, Taylor Wimpey’s first phase of development at Lawley, have been snapped up by buyers, and now just one four-bedroom ‘Broseley’ house is available under the George Wimpey brand, priced £249,995.
