Those interested in a new home in the Newton Mearns area may choose to give one award-winning builder's properties a look.

Steward Milne's Greenwood Manor development has just achieved success at the What House? awards.

Its townhouses in the area came top in the Best Interior Layout category.

John Slater, Stewart Milne Homes group managing director, said: "Despite these challenging times, we have remained committed to delivering the same quality products and service that our reputation has been built on."

He added that winning such national recognition is a superb achievement in the current climate.

The company states that the properties were designed with making an impression in mind.

Features include large living rooms with good garden views - due to the types of windows installed, storage, a utility room and integral garage.

The homes also have master suites with a balcony on the top floor and added extras such as a walk - in wardrobe.

Prices for the houses start from £425,000 for a four-bedroom home.

Stewart Milne has more than 30 years experience in the housing business.
