First-time buyers in the West Midlands could benefit from a new development by housebuilder Barratt Homes.
The company has announced its Edenside development in Wednesbury is currently offering two-bedroom Falkirk style apartments for £85,950, but the organisation has pointed out that some first-time buyers could benefit from the government's HomeBuy Direct scheme to get the properties for just £60,165.
"HomeBuy Direct is a great scheme which allows eligible homebuyers to receive a 30 per cent equity loan on the value of their new home which is jointly funded by us and the government," explained Graydon Worthing, sales director for Barratt's West Midlands operations.
The availability of these properties could prove popular for many first-time buyers seeking their first home, the company added.
Last month, Barratt North Midlands announced it has planted hundreds of new trees and thousands of plants and shrubs at its developments across the region over the past year, in an effort to improve the environment for new homeowners.
The firm is also supporting National Tree Week, running from November 25th to December 6th, which aims to encourage more people to plant vegetation over the winter months and coincides with the start of the winter planting season.
