Retirement developer McCarthy & Stone is inviting people in Nantwich to get into the festive spirit by joining them and residents at its Beatty Court development for a Christmas Fair.
On Thursday 17th December from 2pm-4pm visitors are invited to enjoy complimentary coffee and mince pies, whilst picking out gifts from the bring and buy stall and having a go at winning a prize in the raffle.
If the mince pies weren’t enough, there will also be a cake stall serving delicious home-made treats. Admission is just £1 and all proceeds from the day will go to help St Luke’s Hospice care for people in the region suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Fiona Brooks, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, said: “With less than a month to go until Christmas, we’re inviting people to get into the festive spirit with a special fair at Beatty Court. Why not come along, enjoy some delicious treats and see if you can win any last minute gifts in our special raffle?
“Our Christmas Fair is the ideal opportunity to have a look around Beatty Court and find out about the lifestyle on offer, as well as show your support for the fantastic work that St Luke’s Hospice does. Everyone is welcome so we look forward to seeing you there!”
Diane Eeley, Community Development Manager at St Luke’s Hospice, added: “St Luke’s is a calm and peaceful 10 bedded Hospice in Winsford, where we offer consistent, compassionate care and support to our patients and their families.
“We need to raise £5600 every day of the year to be able to provide specialist care and support to the community we serve, at a time when they need us most. We are very grateful to McCarthy & Stone for supporting our work and would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!”
Beatty Court is a development of 62 one and two bedroom retirement apartments with prices starting from £144,950. Located at the top of Red Lion Lane and just 400 yards from the main shopping area in Nantwich, residents will find plenty of amenities within easy reach.
