Portford Homes has reduced prices at one of its developments in Leeds to encourage
property investment.
The company says it has seen an increase in visitors to the show home since the price cut at Spenmill Grange in Cleckheaton.
David Mackintosh, sales and marketing director for the business, said it has had a "tremendous response" since making the changes.
He added: "It really is a positive sign that people now have more confidence in the housing market and are keen to take advantage of the current Stamp Duty holiday of £175,000."
Both types of the discounted homes have four-bedrooms.
Savings for buyers include £65,050 on the Bramley plot in the cul-de-sac and the second type of building, the Firth, is now available for £199,950.
The housing company decided to cut the prices to encourage buyers back to the market, but reassured customers that it would not mean a drop in the quality of the properties they could expect.
