With the New Year traditionally being a time to make resolutions and implement changes, now could be a great opportunity to start afresh in a brand new home in the village of Hambleton, near Selby.

Award-winning Redrow is currently offering a collection of smaller properties at its Mulberry Grange venture, which are perfect for first time buyers, young couples or even starter families.

These include the two-bedroom Broadford, the three-bedroom semi-detached Dunmore and three-bedroom, detached Elworth. Like all of Redrow’s homes they’re big on style, featuring the developer’s newest interiors, which include contemporary kitchens with floor to ceiling units and top brand name appliances.

What’s more, eligible buyers could snap one of them up by laying out just 70% of their initial asking price, thanks to a Government-backed help scheme.

Jointly funded by Redrow and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), HomeBuy Direct offers an equity loan for up to 30% of the purchase price, which is interest-free for the first five years. It means the Broadford at Mulberry Grange could be available for an initial outlay of just £107, 097 and the Elworth from only £125,997.

With their contemporary interiors and affordable prices, deciding to call one these pretty dwellings home should be one New Year resolution that’s easy to keep.

Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) said: “Buyers can make a proactive start to the New Year and move into the brand new home they have always wanted at Mulberry Grange.

“Properties such as the Dunmore, Elworth and Broadford make great manageable homes and are perfect for all kinds of buyers, including those with busy careers, young families and even downsizers. And, unlike second hand properties, they require no costly renovations or repairs so purchasers can enjoy their new home fully from the day they move in.”

For buyers looking for more room to spread their wings, there are also a number of larger family homes at Mulberry Grange, including the four-bedroom Neale townhouse, which is available from £132,997 using HomeBuy Direct.

Situated on Station Road, the two, three and four-bedroom properties at Mulberry Grange enjoy the benefits of a village location, surrounded by beautiful countryside, as well as being close to the historic market town of Selby.

The village itself is home to a general store, three pubs, a primary school and a village hall, while Selby has a full range of local amenities and a train station. York and Leeds are also both easily reached.
