First-time buyers choosing homes at a development in Bloxham will be able to benefit from the housebuilder's stamp duty offer.
As of tomorrow (January 1st) properties worth over £125,000 will be eligible to pay the one per cent tax, as the government's temporary suspension of the charge for homes under £175,000 comes to an end.
But Taylor Wimpey Midlands has stated that it will be covering the cost for any home worth less than £250,000 at its Bloxham Meadows site.
Regional sales and marketing director Anne Wallace explained: "The stamp duty holiday was largely seen as a step in the right direction and provided much needed support for many first-time buyers," adding that the firm "will continue to support these purchasers".
Earlier this month, Taylor Wimpey noted that first-time buyers at a development in Plymouth have been benefiting from the HomeBuy Direct scheme, which sees the government provide a low-interest loan for 30 per cent of a property's value.
