The champagne corks were popping at McCarthy & Stone’s Maple Tree Court development in Nailsworth recently when it celebrated Christmas, the start of 2010 and fantastic sales success.

Buyers have been so eager to move to the development in the heart of the market town that the site has nearly sold out in just 12 months. There are now only two apartments left to buy. The last properties are both one bedroom apartments and briefly comprise an open plan lounge, adjoining kitchen, double bedroom and a bathroom.

Plot 2 is located on the ground floor and enjoys a south-east aspect. Priced at £221,950 the apartment has been professionally decorated and is sold as seen. Plot 21, which is located on the second floor to the rear of the development, comes complete with carpets, curtains and a fireplace and is priced at £208,950. The property also benefits from a French balcony.

Aileen King, sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone South West, said: “We are delighted with the success of our Maple Tree Court development but we aren’t surprised that it’s so popular. It launched to phenomenal success, selling 50 per cent of properties before the first residents moved in. and it has gone from strength to strength. It offers a combination that ticks all the boxes – a convenient location, access to amenities and stylish designs which people can see themselves living in.

“We believe that with the right advice and support, now is a great time to buy and our latest range of special incentives is aimed at giving homebuyers that extra helping hand. Properties at the right price, like those at Maple Tree Court, are attracting a lot of attention from buyers so I’d encourage prospective purchasers to come and see us soon to avoid disappointment.”

Designed especially for retirement living, special care and attention has been paid to incorporate features such as electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a camera entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.

Residents at Maple Tree Court can also enjoy beautiful surroundings, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family and friends to stay in the development’s guest suite.

Maple Tree Court, which was officially opened by Princess Anne, is located in a prime location in the heart of the town on Old Market. It is ideally positioned to take advantage of the large variety of small individual and specialist shops and local amenities, including being next door to the post office. The town also boasts a wide selection of high quality restaurants.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the last two apartments available at Maple Tree Court can visit the show complex, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
