E.ON has agreed a deal to supply services to new homes.

The gas and power firm has become a recognised supplier of the National Landlords' Association (NLA), which is the UK's leading body for landlords.

E.ON will provide homes with gas and electricity, pledging to do so at competitive prices.

Paul Berwick, head of marketing for the NLA, said that the body is pleased to welcome E.ON.

He explained that this is especially true as an increasing number of companies realise that landlords and property owners are key for energy providers.

Mr Berwick added: "When dealing with an affordable, environmentally conscious company like E.ON, landlords can be assured of reliable and effective customer service and a commitment to providing them with the greenest energy at the best price."

In other news, the Investment Management Association has this week suggested that confidence may be returning to the investment industry, which could lead to individuals putting money into property and new homes.
