A bunker dating back to the Second World War has gone on sale.

The site is located at Trengothal Farm in St Levan, which is near Penzance in Cornwall.

It has now been converted into a country residence by property firm John D Wood & Co.

The former bunker is located in a secluded and peaceful area and now consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a wet room and an open plan living room with a fitted kitchen.

Natural light filters through as a result of vented sun tubes.

Other aspects of the property include car parking, a garage and a garden area, from where 360 degree views of the Cornish coastline can be enjoyed.

The village of St Levan itself is a pleasure to visit, located just eight miles south-west of the popular seaside town Penzance.

Situated along a small road in the Land's End area, the village was once part of the historic St Buryan parish, which is famed for its Grade I-listed church.
