With house prices continuing to rise, now could be the time to invest in your family’s future with a brand new Redrow home in Birchgrove.

According to the latest figures released by Nationwide, house prices have continued to rise into 2010, with January seeing an increase of 1.2 per cent on the previous month. The annual increase now stands at 8.6 per cent, which Nationwide predicts will rise to 10 per cent in February.*

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “With properties ranging from three and four-bedroom homes on phase one and two-bedroom apartments to six-bedroom homes on phase two, it’s come as no surprise that Awel-y-Mor in Birchgrove has proved popular with buyers.”

The three remaining homes on phase one are priced from only £152,995 – two of them show homes ready for you to move into fully furnished.

Redrow will consider part exchange, taking away the problem of finding a buyer for your old home or being stuck in a housing chain.

“The homes at Awel-y-Mor represent high quality workmanship at competitive prices,” Rachael commented.

“And with further house price rises forecast for the year ahead, those who buy a new home now could find the value of their investment increases. Another positive sign for buyers is an improvement in the number of mortgage approvals, so those who may have been hesitant about applying for a mortgage previously should now feel more confident.”

The remaining homes in the current phase at Awel-y-Mor offer a flexible solution to modern family life. Like all Redrow homes they also boast contemporary kitchens, including top name appliances, and modern bathrooms and en-suites with quality fixtures and fittings.

Future phases of homes at Awel-y-Mor will include designs from Redrow’s exciting New Heritage Collection, launched nationally on February 11.

A range of 34 different homes, The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia, influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but boasting a specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.

Within easy reach of Swansea Marina and the well known beauty spots of the Mumbles and Gower coastline, residents of Awel-y-Mor can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of their surroundings, yet they can also experience city life with Swansea’s shops, bars and restaurants just a few miles away.
