Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is urging would-be movers to take advantage of a rapidly improving property market – and secure a great-value investment in a brand new home while the time is right.

According to the Land Registry, house prices in Staffordshire have risen for six months in succession, with the typical home adding nearly £4,000 to its value since June 2009*.

The figures provide strong evidence that confidence is building within the region’s homes market and, despite the recession, bricks and mortar is still as sound an investment as it ever has been.

Daniel McGowan, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “There have been mixed reports in the media recently about the state of the property market, but when you look at the most reliable evidence it’s easy to establish the true picture that things are well and truly on the up.

“House prices in the Staffordshire are increasing every month but the brand new homes at Taylor Wimpey developments across the region still represent exceptional value for money for all types of purchaser.

“Savvy buyers who make their move sooner, rather than later, can not only reap the benefits of these great-value prices, but they can also expect to watch their investment grow as the market continues to improve.”

Taylor Wimpey’s new homes developments at Canalside Wharf in Weston, Farriers Keep in Newcastle-under-Lyme, and at The Pinnacle in Stoke-on-Trent, offer a wide selection of attractive properties, from stylish one and two-bedroom apartments through to spacious three and four-bedroom houses.

By securing their choice of home now, quick-off-the-mark buyers can take advantage of today’s low prices which are guaranteed on reservation – even if the cost of a similar property increases by the time it is ready to move into.

Taylor Wimpey can also add extra appeal to its homes through a range of fantastic time and money-saving incentives, including shared equity or help with deposits for first-time buyers, and part exchange or assistance with finding a purchaser for an existing property for those with a home to sell.

Incentives are available on selected plots only and further details, including full terms and conditions, can be obtained from the Sales Executive.

The following brand new homes developments are now open in Staffordshire and can be visited Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm:
