With Hallmark Cards UK headquarters close to its brand new site, marketing staff at Taylor Wimpey decided to take advantage of the creativity of Hallmark employees, by asking them to name the forthcoming Taylor Wimpey site.

It was designer Frances Nicolle, who won the competition by nominating “Crest Park” as the name for the new site.

Frances has worked at Hallmark for three years and loves her job, where she designs cards for the popular Forever Friends range. She was delighted to hear about the competition and entered more than one idea. She comments; “I was thrilled that Taylor Wimpey chose Crest Park, as I think it’s a great name for an area to live”.

Work begins in the Autumn, when Taylor Wimpey will be building a range of its stylish four and five bedroom homes, as well as spacious three and four bedroom townhouses. Anne Bagshaw, regional sales and marketing manager for Taylor Wimpey, said: “Congratulations to Frances and many thanks for suggesting such a great name for the site. Thanks also to all the other Hallmark staff who entered the naming competition, with some excellent suggestions. We hope that we will be able to continue to work with Hallmark and its employees as Crest Park develops”.

Crest Park is an exciting development of well designed properties, catering for all potential home buyers. The development it is well placed for easy access to Bradford town centre, as well as the nearby motorway and airport links, and we expect it will prove to be a very popular place for people to live.
