Retirement developer McCarthy & Stone is inviting mums over 60 and their daughters to join them for a special Mother’s Day pampering event, in support of Rowans Hospice, at its Dilkusha Court development in Hayling Island next week.
Being held at the development, located on the Sea Front, on Thursday 11th March from 12noon to 4.00pm, visitors will be able to enjoy 15 minute taster sessions for a range of different treatments including foot, hand, head, back, neck and shoulder massage. Each treatment will cost £2.50 with all money raised going directly to the Rowans Hospice. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon.
Aileen King, sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone South West, comments: “Our Mother’s Day pampering event is not only an opportunity for people to view our Dilkusha Court development in the most relaxing way possible – after a lovely massage – it also is a great way to raise vital funds for our local hospice to help them continue to offer specialist care and support for patients with life limiting illnesses. So give us a call now to book your treatment!”
Spaces at the Mother’s Day pampering event are limited so please contact McCarthy & Stone in advance to book your place.
Dilkusha Court comprises 31 one and two bedroom retirement apartments exclusively for the over 60s and is situated on South Hayling Island with over three miles of beaches right on the doorstep. All apartments benefit from a well-thought out design to help residents maintain independence in later life and feel secure in their own home.
Design features include 24 hour emergency call points, electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a video entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.
Residents can also socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family or friends to stay in the development’s guest suite.
