Peering over the garden fence at his brother’s new home motivated Redrow contractor Rob McKay to buy his own first home.

Rob and his brother Joe, who run their own fencing company IP Jones Ltd in Charnock Richard, have fencing contracts at Redrow developments throughout the North West.

When his brother purchased a home at the developer’s Arcon Village, in Horwich, Rob realised a brand new home was the way forward and went on to buy a three-bedroom property of his own at Hallwood Gardens, in Chorley.

Rob, 28, who now lives there with his partner Sarah, says: “Originally Sarah and I wanted an older property to renovate ourselves. However, when Joe bought from Redrow I realised the benefits of buying brand new instead.

“He didn’t need to do any renovations, repairs or redecoration and was able to move in without spending any extra money. It was just too easy, so we changed our minds and bought one of Redrow’s brand new homes at Hallwood Gardens instead.”

Rob, like Joe, had seen first hand the quality finish of homes built by Redrow. And visitors to Hallwood Gardens can see for themselves what impressed the two brothers so much.

Part of the wider Gillibrands Park venture, Hallwood Gardens is a prestigious development of stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes, all within the grounds of the historic, Grade II listed Gillibrands Hall.

Beautifully set against a stunning backdrop of rich woodland and landscaped gardens, a sense of seclusion and intimacy is waiting to be enjoyed. Yet the town centre is only approximately one mile away with everything home owners will need, from high street stores and a post office, to primary schools and doctors.

For those that enjoy leisurely walks, Chorley provides endless options, with Yarrow Valley Park, the West Pennine Moors and the stunning Lancashire Plain all close by.

Current availability at Hallwood Gardens includes a number of two and three-bedroom homes with prices starting from £124,995.

To view the show home visit the development, off Yarrow Valley Way.
