Fast-acting house-hunters can take advantage of an improving property market to secure a stunning brand new home at Castleford, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development in Market Drayton, Shropshire.

Confidence is returning so rapidly to the homes market in the area that the leading housebuilder has released all its 2010 allocation of properties ahead of schedule, opening up a wealth of new opportunities for would-be purchasers.

House prices have risen for four successive months in Shropshire with the typical home adding around £1,000 a month to its value, yet the range of stylish and spacious three-bedroom properties available now at Castleford are attractively priced from as little as £155,500.

Daniel McGowan, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Buyers are eager to make the most of a favourable property market to grab their choice of brand new home at this sought-after development, and demand has been so high we have decided to release all of our 2010 properties for sale early.

“With interest showing no sign of slowing, this fantastic selection of three-bedroom homes won’t be available for long – so anyone interested in securing their perfect match at Castleford should act quickly and get in touch as soon as they can.”

Among the three-bedroom designs now on sale are the ‘Wessex’, priced from only £155,500, and the semi-detached ‘Chichester’ from as little as £164,950.

New to the collection at Castleford is the delightful ‘Harvington’, an ideal choice for couples or growing families and available now from only £171,950. Benefiting from a light and airy lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, the ground floor of the ‘Harvington’ is completed by a separate contemporary kitchen and a handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two well-proportioned bedrooms – one of which could be used as a home study – and a main bathroom, while the spacious en-suite master bedroom enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor.

All new homes at the development include a garage or allocated parking and each property is completed to a high standard specification, with central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Taylor Wimpey also offers a range of time and money-saving homebuyer incentives, including help with deposits and legal fees for first-time purchasers, and assistance with finding a buyer for an existing property or part exchange for those with a home to sell. Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual specifications and are subject to availability, with further information available from the Sales Executive.

Castleford enjoys a semi-rural location less than a mile from Market Drayton town centre, with its lively street market and wide variety of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés.

Running close to the town centre, the charming 66-mile Shropshire Union Canal is a popular stopping-off point for boaters – and the perfect setting for scenic walks.

Commuters will appreciate that the A53 is a few minutes’ drive from the development while junction 15 of the M6 is only 20 minutes away by car. The nearest train station is Prees, which links to Birmingham via Shrewsbury.
