Blending traditional exteriors and contemporary interiors, the new Redrow homes in Earl Shilton, near Leicester, offer a timeless yet stylish solution to modern living.

The Leicestershire town is the latest place where buyers can experience Redrow’s New Heritage Collection with the sales launch and show home opening of Rossendale Gardens.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “The New Heritage Collection was designed in response to feedback from customers, who said they wanted a traditional home that reminded them of where they grew up in but with the latest modern interiors. It’s already proving popular across the UK and we’re confident that Rossendale Gardens in Earl Shilton will build on that success.”

The sales launch of Rossendale Gardens takes place over the weekend of Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, when the doors to a two-bedroom ‘Evesham’ show home will open.

A premium housing product, the New Heritage Collection is influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement. The homes feature some of the styles, colours, shapes and textures of the Arts and Crafts movement – including dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bay windows, timber or tiled canopies and feature larch lap boarding.

Inside, the homes enjoy convivial open plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units, central islands and top brand name appliances, plus bathrooms that are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye.

“The two and three-bedroom designs at Rossendale Gardens may be smaller than some of the other homes in the New Heritage Collection, but they enjoy the same quality craftsmanship, stylish fixtures and fittings and top brand name appliances,” Pauline said.

“With the character of an older home minus the drawbacks, they truly are homes that people want to live in as behind their traditional exteriors hides a contemporary interior specification.”

A two-bedroom ‘Evesham’, similar to the show home, could be yours from £124,995; while the three-bedroom, three-storey ‘Kenilworth’ is priced from £159,995.

Close to Earl Shilton town centre, Rossendale Gardens in Rossendale Road, enjoys easy access to Leicester, Hinckley and Nuneaton.
