Award-winning housebuilder Galliford Try Homes was today awarded five stars for the quality of its new homes. This latest accolade puts Galliford Try Homes firmly in place as one of the top seven highest scoring housebuilders in the country, according to the 2010 Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual Customer Satisfaction Survey revealed today.
The survey showed that over 90% of buyers gave Galliford Try Homes a top score, confirming they were either very or fairly satisfied with the overall quality of their new home, which is a testament to the company’s commitment to deliver the highest quality product and service that today’s demanding home buyers now expect. This year, Galliford Try Homes moved up to the top slot having been awarded four stars for the last two years.
The survey carried out by the National House Building Council (NHBC) on behalf of the HBF seeks the views of customers of the 15 largest housebuilders in the country building more than 500 homes a year and was carried out over the 12 month period ending September 2009.
The HBF survey also showed that Galliford Try Homes maintained its four star rating for recommending the company to a friend. However, more recent independent industry research showed that in January this year 100%* of its customers would recommend buying a Galliford Try Home to friends.
Ian Baker, Group Managing Director for Housebuilding at Galliford Try Homes, comments on the award:
“We are delighted to be awarded five stars for the quality of our new homes which is especially important at a time when home buyers are not only looking for good value, but also excellent quality. In spite of the recession we have not only been able to maintain high quality standards but also improve on these as is reflected in this industry survey.
“This recognition, coupled with the recent introduction of the new Consumer Code for Homebuilders, can reassure our buyers that buying a brand new home, offers the highest product standards and delivers excellent customer service.”
