Step onto the property ladder with an affordable stylish new home in Chadderton, near Oldham, where valuable help is attached to the latest wave of properties.

The Government-backed help scheme HomeBuy Direct is available on the latest release of Redrow homes at Spinners Mews, making homeownership more affordable.

Lesley Myers, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “HomeBuy Direct offers eligible customers the opportunity to take out an equity loan of up to 30% of the purchase price of a brand new home. It’s the smart way for first time buyers to step onto the property ladder and invest in a stylish new home at a price they can afford.”

With HomeBuy Direct, a two-bedroom home priced at £109,995 could be yours for an initial outlay of just £76,995; while a three-bedroom property priced at £129,995 could be snapped up for £91,000.

“HomeBuy Direct is all about giving first time buyers the opportunity to take that first and often tricky step onto the property ladder. Because they receive an equity loan of up to 30%, which is interest free for the first five years, purchasers should only need a relatively small deposit and to apply for a mortgage with a maximum loan to value of 70%.

“This will generally give them access to much improved mortgage interest rates without the need for a large cash deposit,” Lesley explained.

HomeBuy Direct is open to people with an annual household income of less than £60,000, including first time buyers and those re-entering the property market following a change in circumstances, eg. divorce or the breakdown of a relationship.

Lesley added: “While some older, second hand properties may come with a smaller price tag, you could spend thousands of pounds and invest a lot of energy on repairs and renovations. Buying a brand new home means that you don’t have to worry about correcting someone else’s DIY disasters, as all Redrow homes come with contemporary fitted kitchens and sleek bathroom suites. And you’ll have peace of mind, knowing that your investment is covered by a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ guarantee.”

With a number of schools in Chadderton, Spinners Mews is the ideal place for those wanting to build a future near Oldham.

Oldham town centre is just two miles away, while the bright lights of Manchester are also easily accessible.

For more information about the homes available at Spinners Mews, visit the sales office, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
