Moving in later life can be a daunting experience, which is why McCarthy & Stone is holding a special Moving Solutions day, exclusively for the over 60s, at its Farthings Court development in Bridgnorth.

The event, which is taking place on Wednesday 19th May from 11am-3pm, will be an opportunity for people interested in moving to get impartial advice from a range of professional advisors.

The Moving Solutions event is free and there is no obligation, but attendance is by appointment only.

Kathy Tedstone, from Helen Brown Financial Services, will be on hand to give visitors free mortgage advice as well as inform visitors and residents of entitlements they may not be aware of and how to claim them. There will also be an opportunity to speak to ARC Properties about part exchanging your existing property and the chance to chat to local solicitors and estate agents. House to Home will also be on hand to talk about its free decluttering, packing and removals service.

In addition, visitors will be able to speak to McCarthy & Stone’s experienced sales consultants about the benefits of retirement living and enjoy a tour of Farthings Court.

Robin Pike, regional sales and marketing manager, comments: “Moving house is stressful at any time of life but even more so as you get older. It is important to have as much information as possible at your fingertips to ensure you make the right decision for you. We’ve organised this special event at Farthings Court to enable people to get impartial advice on all aspects of moving and also find out more about the benefits available to them, without any obligation. If you’d like to find out more why not come and see us?”

Farthings Court is a development of 45 one and two bedroom apartments with prices starting from £139,950. Overlooking the River Severn, the development enjoys an idyllic location in the picturesque Shropshire town. Farthings Court is less than a mile from Bridgnorth's bustling High Street, which can easily be reached by the town's famous Victorian Cliff Railway and has a wide range of shops and local amenities.
