BUYERS in Halifax will be able to enjoy the charm of an older property and the style of a brand new home, thanks to Redrow.
The award-winning house building is offering a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes at the former Sykes Mill, in Keighley Road, Ovenden.

The New Heritage Collection is influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th century. Features including dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bays and other distinctive window styles, plus timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, will be seen to varying degrees on the new homes in Halifax.
In keeping with the local area and to meet planning requirements, some of the properties will have stone finishes.
One of the most popular and enduring of English architectural styles, the Arts & crafts influence can also be clearly seen in many so-called ‘character’ homes of later periods, especially the 1920s and 1930s.

Redrow has planning permission to build 89 new homes on the 6.5 acre site in Keighley Road, which was used most recently as a bed and mattress manufacturing unit.
