Retirement developer McCarthy & Stone this week launched its new Assisted Living development Farringford Court in Lymington to phenomenal success with over 130 people attending the event to find out more about the retirement properties being released for sale.

The exciting new concept was launched to the public at Lymington Community Centre in New Street. Three separate presentations took place across the day to give people the first opportunity to find out comprehensive details about the development, including prices.

Aileen King, sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone South West, explains: “We are delighted to have finally launched Farringford Court and to be bringing an exciting new offering to Lymington. The phenomenal turnout on the day proves there is a real demand locally for an Assisted Living provision.

“We will now be carrying out follow-up meetings with those people who expressed an interest in reserving one of the 42 one and two bedroom apartments and we urge anyone considering a move to Farringford Court to get in touch soon to avoid disappointment.”

Farringford Court is located in Avenue Road, on the southern edge of the picturesque New Forest. The development will extend the retirement living offering to the over 70s in Lymington by providing residents who require additional daily assistance with the necessary support to enable them to live in their home for longer, as their needs change, or avoid residential care altogether.

Designed to bridge the gap between a conventional retirement development and a residential care home, the development will offer a range of facilities including a waitress service restaurant and flexible support services to make life easier and meet the changing needs of residents.
