Family homes built to the highest specification, styled by a team of top interior designers and surrounded by beautiful countryside are now open in south east Wales.

The four-bedroom ‘Stratford’ and ‘Lincoln’ fully-furnished show homes are available to view at Redrow Homes’ new Nedern Rise venture, in Caldicot.

Part of Redrow’s acclaimed ‘New Heritage Collection’, the properties combine ‘Arts and Crafts’ influenced traditional exteriors with stylish, ultra-modern interiors.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “We know how important it is for homebuyers to have something tangible, like a show home, to experience so they can really imagine making themselves at home in a property. We have been delighted by the positive response to our new designs at Nedern Rise. Customers have been saying how much they like the features that are unique to our New Heritage Collection.”

The ‘Stratford’ is characterised by a cream colour scheme, complemented with soft aqua, while sumptuous velvets have been paired with natural fabrics. Lounge cushions feature antique mother-of-pearl buttons, highlighting the close attention to detail and in the living room, furniture is solid wood with a white-washed finish.

Two children’s bedrooms in the Stratford have been themed, with one featuring children’s classic ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, while another is styled to appeal to a young teenage girl with features including glossy furniture and zebra prints.

The ‘Lincoln’ also features a cream backdrop, with a hint of rich aubergine. The delicate wallpaper in the lounge has etched flowers, while bespoke walnut furniture, made in the UK, has been used in the lounge. One of the bedrooms, designed to appeal to an older teenage girl, has a Hollywood theme, complete with the stars ‘walk of fame’ and vintage features around legends including Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

Located off Church Road East, Nedern Rise will eventually comprise 109 properties. The first phase features three, four and six bedroom homes, with initial prices ranging from £236,995 to £354,995.

Surrounded by stunning countryside, the development is close to the M4 motorway and benefits from excellent amenities including shops, schools, leisure facilities and a weekly market.
