Hot on the heels of 100% satisfaction results from customers during the buying process, Solihull-based Taylor Wimpey West Midlands has now scored full marks on their service levels after moving in as well.

And this means the Station Road-based company has again pooled the best customer satisfaction results of any of the 23 regional businesses in the Taylor Wimpey group nationwide.

The results are from year-to-date Customer Satisfaction Reports on 10 developments in the West Midlands region, which are independently carried out by the National House-Building Council (NHBC) – the standard setting body and leading warranty and insurance provider for new and newly converted homes in the UK. In these latest results, nearly 90% of Taylor Wimpey West Midlands customers also said they would recommend the company to family and friends. The previous results were independently carried out by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) in their national new homes survey which aims to optimise standards.

Sales & marketing director Jan Titley says: “Once again it’s fantastic news and proves that we always strive to consider the end-user from the outset and then continue to go that extra mile for them. What’s more, this is against a backdrop of far greater competition and a better educated consumer with an increased awareness of what is available in the new homes sector.

“Our production director, Stuart Payne, has always said he would back the quality of our build against any of our competitors and I think that says a lot about our approach to house building and the quality levels we undertake to achieve. These latest figures prove how passionate Stuart and his team are about their work and show that we ensure our customers are provided with excellent customer care, not just after 6 weeks but also over 12 months.

“Two of his site managers have again won awards in the NHBC’s annual Pride In The Job initiative and their ‘Quality’ winners are universally regarded as the best in their profession and always achieving very high standards. Mick Wale from Cannock has now won four years on the trot, whilst Peter Biggs from Rugby has scored a hat-trick of awards.”

The company is currently building in Smethwick, Oldbury, Wordsley, Cannock, Telford, Coventry, Rugby and Daventry.
