Redrow has announced that it will be delivering a new range of family homes onto the market.
The troubled housebuilder this week announced its first profits since 2007, when it reported the worst losses in its history.
In the year leading up to June 2010, Redrow made £700,000 pre-tax profits and exceptionals.
It estimates that at least 40 per cent of sales this year will be from the new Arts & Craft inspired homes in the New Heritage Collection.
According to the company, the designs are aimed towards family living and there will be a choice of 40 different house types.
Properties available will include one bedroom house types and six-bedroom detached properties.
Company founder and executive chairman Steven Morgan said that the company was in "good shape" but he expressed concern about the lack of access for
first time buyers.
He commented: "Until this issue is resolved, it will remain the major constraint to the full recovery of the UK housing market with overall transactions set to continue at the current historically low levels."
