Do you have a dancing dog, or a parrot that preaches? Are you the proud owner of a handsome horse or a feline friend worthy of a place on the ‘cat-walk’? If so then Taylor Wimpey is going ‘cuckoo’ to hear from you.

The house builder has launched ‘Pet Factor’, a competition to find a purr-fect pet to star in its advert for its Meridian and Portus development in Bristol. Whether it has a special talent to give ‘Churchill’ a run for his money, more charisma than the ‘Meerkat’ or if is the best-looking animal around, your precious pet could be the next furry, or not furry, face of Taylor Wimpey.

Richard Goad, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey said: “We’ve launched this competition not because we’re barking mad, but because Britain is a nation of pet lovers and our canine companions, feline friends and other pets form part of our fixtures and fittings; they make a house, a home. So what better way for proud owners to show off their pets than with its name in lights when it stars in our advert?”

Taylor Wimpey’s Pet Factor competition is open to any pet that has a special talent or is simply the cutest companion around. To be in with a chance of making your pet a star simply take a physical photo of your pet to Meridian sales office located on Brunel Way or Portus sales office located on Stonechat Green. All photos must be attached to a cover note which includes the name of the pet, a brief description of the talent if relevant, the owner’s name, address and daytime contact telephone number. The competition closes on 2nd October and finalists will be notified w/c 4th October. Unfortunately photos can not be returned.

Meridian sales office is open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Portus is open 11.30am to 5.30pm Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday and 11.30am to 2.30pm on Saturdays.
