House hunters in South Wales could be moving up the property ladder, or getting on it for the first time, with help from Taylor Wimpey. The housebuilder is offering want-to-be buyers a choice of two schemes on selected properties throughout the region.

For existing home owners who want to speed up the process of getting out of their old house and into their new home Taylor Wimpey’s cash buyer scheme is perfect. With no chains, no estate agents’ fees and no chance of your buyer pulling out at the last minute, the incentive will take out the stress of selling your home.

On selected properties, the house builder will offer a fixed price for your house which means you know exactly how much you have to spend to part exchange it against your new Taylor Wimpey home. There’s no chain to break down and you can stay in your property until your new home is ready to move into.

For prospective purchasers worried about rising interest rates, Taylor Wimpey is offering one of the most competitive mortgage deals on the market. At a rate of just 2.99% fixed for two years, the special mortgage offer is available on selected properties on Taylor Wimpey developments across South Wales.

This new initiative comes in the form of a subsidised mortgage which sees Taylor Wimpey credit the difference between a maximum representative mortgage rate of 5.99% and the offer rate of 2.99%. The difference is paid into the purchaser’s bank account following legal completion. Terms and conditions apply. Customers advised to seek independent advice before taking out any mortgage

Sara Taylor, regional sales and marketing director, comments: “Both of these schemes offer peace of mind to buyers and save money and a great deal of stress! Our cash buyer scheme eliminates the risk of the chain breaking while our low mortgage rate of 2.99% gives buyers a safeguard against any potential interest rate rises in the coming months as well as offering significant savings in the first two years of moving home when financial outlay can often be at its highest.”

Taylor Wimpey’s Cash Buyer and 2.99% fixed rate deal are currently available on properties across the South Wales region. Current developments include; Viridian, a range of two, three and four bedroom homes just off Dan y Graig Road in Port Tennant, Swansea and Llewellyn’s View offering three and four bedroom detached homes in Gilfach Goch.
