Managers of Taylor Wimpey’s Canalside Wharf, Kingsland Grange and Oakhampton developments are handed NHBC Seal of Excellence awards.
Three Taylor Wimpey North Midlands site managers have been honoured for their sterling work on developments of new homes in Staffordshire, property in Derbyshire and new homes in Birmingham – with one of the most prestigious prizes in the construction industry.
John Curtiss, Andy Blower and Darren Clark have each clinched coveted Seal of Excellence Awards from the National House-Building Council (NHBC) in recognition of their commitment to building new homes of outstanding quality and delivering exceptional customer service to purchasers.
The Seal of Excellence, better known in the trade as a ‘Top 100’ award, is handed out by the NHBC each year to a select few site managers throughout Britain – securing their places among the crème-de-la-crème of housebuilders.
The triumphant trio – John, who is senior site manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Canalside Wharf development of property for sale in Weston, Staffordshire; Andy, who is site manager at the Kingsland Grange development of new homes in Streetly, Birmingham; and Darren Clark, of the Oakhampton development of property in Hilton, Derbyshire – have all reacted to their successes with modesty, paying tribute to the contribution made by the team of craftsmen who work alongside them.
But Daniel McGowan, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, believes his star site managers deserve full credit for their achievements.
He says: “John, Andy and Darren all richly deserve their NHBC Seal of Excellence Awards for the fantastic work they do day after day on their respective Taylor Wimpey new homes development sites.
“All of us at Taylor Wimpey North Midlands strive to deliver the very best for our customers, and by consistently going that extra mile in their work, John, Andy and Darren are setting the standard for the rest of us to aspire to.”
The NHBC names just 130 Seal of Excellence winners at its annual Pride in the Job Awards. Each recipient is selected from a shortlist of 400 Quality Award winners, which in turn are chosen from more than 18,000 NHBC-registered housebuilders running sites up and down the UK.
The awards recognise outstanding commitment to producing high-quality new homes and to maintaining exceptional standards in every aspect of building work, and each site manager undergoes a stringent selection process with independent judges visiting developments at key stages of construction for assessment.
Taylor Wimpey North Midlands offers a wide selection of apartments and houses for sale across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Birmingham and the Black Country.
