Managers of Taylor Wimpey’s South Wood and Poppyfields developments of new homes in Corby are among county winners of the NHBC’s Pride in the Job awards.

Four Taylor Wimpey site managers at developments of new homes in Northamptonshire have earned coveted prizes in a prestigious UK building industry competition.

Craig Hurst, Site Manager of the South Wood development of houses for sale in Corby, Paul Lord, of Mawsley Village, Mike Bettridge, of the Poppyfields development of property for sale in Corby, and Jason Oakley, of Doddington Grange in Wellingborough, have all been presented with Quality Awards at the 2010 National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards – the Oscars of the housing industry.

Steve Farmer, Managing Director of Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “I’d like to congratulate the managers and their teams at all four developments of property for sale in Northamptonshire for all the hard work and commitment which has resulted in them being recognised with Quality Awards.

“The awards are testament to the dedication of Taylor Wimpey teams across the county who take pride in building beautiful, high-quality apartments and houses in Northamptonshire and delivering exceptional customer service.

“In total, eight out of 20 Taylor Wimpey sites in the East Midlands won awards, with a further two sites given letters of commendation – that’s quite an achievement!”

The NHBC’s 400 Quality Award winners are selected from more than 18,000 NHBC-registered housebuilders running sites up and down the UK.

They are judged on delivering outstanding new homes and maintaining the safest and most efficient building sites.

Each site manager undergoes a stringent selection process with independent judges visiting developments at key stages of the construction process to assess them on all aspects of house building.

South Wood, a charming collection of homes in the new village of Little Stanion, truly enjoys the best of both worlds: beautiful countryside on the doorstep, with a choice of nearby towns providing everything for daily life. Three and four-bedroom homes currently available are priced from just £145,250 to only £249,250.

Delightful three-bedroom homes at the stunning Poppyfields development in Corby are priced from just £141,250, and are located just over a mile from the town centre, home to a wide choice of shops, leisure amenities and schools catering for children of all ages.

Meanwhile, Taylor Wimpey’s superb new homes in the beautiful new village of Mawsley, as well as those at its sought-after Doddington Grange development in Wellingborough, have been so popular that they have all now been sold. Taylor Wimpey’s sites in Northamptonshire currently offer a wonderful selection of beautiful new homes.
