Steve Lees, Director at smartnewhomes, comments on the NHBC’s new build registration figures:

“The latest figures from the NHBC are great news for the housebuilding industry, which has been at a crossroads since the abolition of housing targets and the ensuing confusion over planning law. New homes are offering excellent value for money and developers are becoming increasingly innovative in the ways they are helping credit worthy customers obtain finance, as the mortgage famine continues. I believe this is the start of the recovery of the sector and would expect to see continued rises in new home registrations over the coming months."
