Register Now For Heathfield Retirement Development

McCarthy & Stone is inviting people to register their interest now as it prepares to launch its new retirement development, Ridgeway Court, on Mutton Hall Hill in Heathfield.

Construction started on the new development in April and the first occupants are anticipated in April next year. The development has been designed exclusively for people over the age of 60 and will comprise of 40 one and two bedroom retirement living apartments.

By registering their interest now, prospective purchasers will be among the first to receive information on the new apartments once they are released for sale.

Sharon Callcut, marketing manager for McCarthy & Stone South East explains: "To make the most of your retirement years, you want peace of mind, comfort and independence. Our new development will offer just this and more. The apartments will be low maintenance in design and will benefit from modern fittings, good security and will have a number of specialist features."

These features include 24 hours emergency call points, electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a security entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.

Residents at Ridgeway Court will also be able to enjoy landscaped gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family or friends to stay at the development's guest suite.

The market town of Heathfield is surrounded by the High Weald in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with magnificent views to the south coast and South Downs from the High Street.
