The trio of showhomes now open at Cedar Drive represents the broad range of properties available at the development. The two-bedroom 'Woburn' is decorated with a stylish ebony and mahogany colour scheme accented by subtle hints of beige, while the three-bedroom 'Kingsford' features a fun cinema theme, with children's bedrooms decorated as tributes to Alice in Wonderland and Disney/Pixar's Up!

Meanwhile, the magnificent four-bedroom 'Malvern' cannot fail to impress thanks to its opulent furnishings and luxurious colour scheme of rich purples, deep pinks and on-trend lime greens.

The two-bedroom 'Woburn' terraced house is just one of the brand new homes currently available to buy at Cedar Drive from as little as £124,995 - or just £106,246* for qualifying first-time buyers through the leading housebuilder's popular easystart incentive.

Under easystart, purchasers need only to find a deposit as low as 5%, subject to status, and Taylor Wimpey will put them in touch with an independent financial advisor to help arrange a mortgage covering up to 80% of the price.

The remaining 15% is provided by the housebuilder in the form of an interest-free loan which can be repaid in up to three instalments over a 10-year period, at the market value of the property when payments are made.

Full details and terms and conditions of the incentive are available from the Sales Executive.

Perfect for first-time buyers, the 'Woburn' boasts a spacious lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a contemporary kitchen and handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two well-proportioned double bedrooms and the main bathroom, while outside there is allocated parking.

Alternatively, the three-bedroom 'Kingsford' semi-detached property design is also available from only £123,675*, while the spacious four-bedroom semi-detached 'Malvern' house can be reserved from just £140,246*.

Cedar Drive is a thoughtfully designed new community less than a mile to the east of Oldbury town centre, in a sought-after and well-established residential location with excellent transport links to Birmingham and beyond.

The new homes at Cedar Drive will lie within beautifully landscaped grounds on the site of the former Sampson Works in Rood End Road and are ideally placed to take advantage of the region's travel network.

Junctions 1 and 2 of the M5 are close by, linking with the M6 and M42, and a choice of railway stations within walking distance offers services into Birmingham city centre in around ten minutes. The Metro rail link from Wolverhampton to Birmingham makes the journey to work even easier.

A wealth of high street shops, pubs and eateries, day-to-day essentials such as doctors' and dental surgeries, plus a good choice of schools for children of all ages are just a short walk away.

Historic West Smethwick Park is just a stone's throw from the new homes, and boasts a children's play area, allotments, a pavilion and changing rooms, youth games facilities and sports pitches.

The town's historic canals are increasingly used for leisure and boating, while a major reclamation project has turned the picturesque Titford Pool into one of the area's top beauty spots.

House-hunters can find out more about the in-demand homes at Cedar Drive by visiting the Cedar Drive showhomes and Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Rood End Road, Oldbury, between 10am and 5pm Thursday to Monday.
