Taylor Wimpey site manager Pete Biggs has been honoured with a second NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award for his Caldecott Manor development of new build homes in Rugby.

The site manager of Taylor Wimpey's Caldecott Manor development has earned a coveted prize in a prestigious UK building industry competition - his second such award for the sought-after collection of houses for sale in Rugby.

Pete Biggs was named as a winner of a Pride in the Job Quality Award - known as the Oscars of the new homes industry - by the National House-Building Council (NHBC), and was presented with his certificate at the development of new homes for sale in Rugby by NHBC Regional Director Pete Watton.

Jan Titley, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: "We'd like to thank Pete and all the Taylor Wimpey staff at Caldecott Manor for the hard work and dedication which have resulted in him winning a prestigious NHBC Quality Award for this superb development of property for sale in Rugby.

"This award is testament to the tremendous efforts of our team at Caldecott Manor, who take pride in building high-quality new build houses in Rugby and delivering first-class customer service."

The NHBC's 400 Quality Award winners are selected from more than 18,000 NHBC-registered housebuilders running sites up and down the UK.

They are judged on delivering outstanding new homes and maintaining the safest and most efficient building sites.

Each site manager undergoes a stringent selection process with independent judges visiting developments at key stages of the construction process to assess them on all aspects of house building, including workmanship, leadership, technical expertise and health and safety.

A wonderful selection of new homes is currently available at Caldecott Manor, which boasts stunning tree-lined public open space, and enjoys a picturesque location on the banks of the Oxford Canal, bordered by open fields.

Stylish two-bedroom canalside apartments are priced from just £107,995 at the development, while spacious four-bedroom homes start from as little as £235,995 and five-bedroom properties from only £249,995.

Situated on the outskirts of historic Rugby, the development offers exceptional lifestyle opportunities with waterside walks along the Avon and Oxford Canal as well as the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.

Commuters will appreciate that the new homes are just a few minutes' drive from Junction 1 of the M6, while Rugby train station is just a short walk from the development and offers rail links to London in 50 minutes, Coventry in 12 minutes and Birmingham in just under half an hour.

Elliots Field leisure and retail park is also within walking distance, while plenty of shopping opportunities are on offer at Junction One retail park and in Rugby town centre.

Rugby offers an excellent choice of schools, including the opportunity of a grammar school education for children taking the 11-plus, while Rugby School is one of England's oldest and most prestigious public schools.

The Caldecott Manor Sales and Marketing Suite is located off Boughton Road, Rugby, and open daily from 10am to 5pm.
