Taylor Wimpey, the leading housebuilder behind a number of developments of new homes for sale in West London, is providing sponsorship for local football club Bracknell Town.
Bracknell Town FC will start the new football season with the welcome support of leading local housebuilder Taylor Wimpey West London.
The volunteer-run football team relies entirely on the aid and generosity of local businesses - and this year Taylor Wimpey, the housebuilder behind The Parks development of new homes in Bracknell and other collections of property for sale in West London, has joined the Berkshire-based side by sponsoring midfielder Dean Clayton for the season.
Club Director Tom Canning says the whole of Bracknell Town FC and the local community will be strengthened by the assistance Taylor Wimpey is giving one of their ace midfielders.
"We're a club of volunteers and we've got Mens, Ladies, Youth and Juniors sides to look after which means we rely on fundraising, so we're really grateful for the help Taylor Wimpey has given us," says Tom.
"Money gets spent on all sorts: kit, referee fees, electricity for the floodlights, hiring training facilities - everything it takes to run a football club.
"We run 'football in the community' schemes where our coaches visit local schools and popular social events, and just anything to get the whole community involved, because that's what this club is about.
"It's brilliant that a company like Taylor Wimpey is sponsoring us because it gives us the opportunity to push on through the season and, following a couple of difficult years, we are really looking to compete again."
Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: "We are proud to support Dean Clayton and Bracknell Town FC, and we wish all of the teams playing at the club every success during the coming season."
