Taylor Wimpey East Midlands is celebrating after the site managers of four developments of new homes in Nottinghamshire and houses for sale in Derbyshire secured top industry honours.

Four Taylor Wimpey site managers at developments of new build homes in Nottinghamshire and property for sale in Derbyshire have earned coveted prizes in a prestigious UK building industry competition.

Nottinghamshire property development site managers Mark Frost, of Brackens Court in Bestwood Village, Mark Jefferson, of Chaworth Gardens in Ravenshead, Richard Boaden, of Rufford Grange in Rainworth, and Derbyshire's Paul Coupe, of The Park, Somercotes, have all been named as winners of 2011 Pride in the Job Quality Awards by the National House-Building Council (NHBC) - the Oscars of the new homes industry.

The four award winners all received invaluable support from their teams, in particular from assistant site managers Nick Smith (Brackens Court), John Fowler (Chaworth Gardens), Richard Coupe (Rufford Grange) and Cormac Magee (The Park).

Their achievements have contributed to a hugely successful performance at the 2011 Pride in the Job Quality Awards for Taylor Wimpey, which has seen nine of its site managers honoured across the East Midlands and a total of 65 nationwide.

Dominic Harman, Managing Director of Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: "I'd like to thank the site managers and their teams at all four sites in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire for the hard work and dedication which have resulted in them winning prestigious NHBC Quality Awards.

"We're delighted that Taylor Wimpey East Midlands has won a total of nine Quality Awards this year, which is testament to the tremendous efforts of all of our people across the region, who take pride in building high-quality new homes and delivering first-class customer service."

The NHBC's Quality Award winners are selected from more than 13,000 entries from around the UK, and the honour provides homebuyers with the assurance that the winning developments deliver top-quality homes and excellent customer care.

Each site manager undergoes a stringent selection process with independent judges visiting developments at key stages of the construction process to assess them on all aspects of house building, including workmanship, leadership, technical expertise and health and safety.

The only awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site managers in new home construction, Pride in the Job has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades.

Quality Award winners proceed to the regional heats of the competition, which take place in the autumn, with the Supreme Awards gala final being held in January 2012, the NHBC's 75th anniversary year.

Brackens Court is ideally located in Bestwood Village near Nottingham, just a stroll from Bestwood Country Park offering 650 acres of meadows, ancient oak woodland and mill lakes. Four-bedroom homes are currently available at the development from as little as £194,995.

Just a little further north, Chaworth Gardens is a delightful collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes which enjoys an exceptional position in the beautiful village of Ravenshead, nestled in the heart of Robin Hood Country. A selection of two, three-bedroom homes are on sale at this development from only £120,995.

Also in Nottinghamshire, Rufford Grange enjoys a convenient location close to a host of everyday amenities in the popular village of Rainworth, just four miles from Mansfield, with three and four-bedroom properties currently for sale from only £142,995.
