New sales director joins Taylor Wimpey East Midlands

Taylor Wimpey, the leading local housebuilder responsible for high-quality developments of new homes in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Peterborough, has appointed Suzanne Irons as its new Sales and Marketing Director.

Taylor Wimpey has welcomed Suzanne Irons to the position of Sales and Marketing Director for the regional business behind developments of East Midlands property for sale.

Northampton-born Suzanne joins the leading local housebuilder, which is currently building developments of new build homes in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Peterborough, following successful spells as Sales Director within the housing industry, including most recently at Redrow Homes in Essex.

Returning to live in her home town after her time in the South East, Suzanne's new position sees her take overall responsibility for the sale of homes at Taylor Wimpey developments of apartments and houses for sale in the East Midlands - a challenge she is very much relishing.

"I'm delighted to be taking on the role of Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, and I'm very much looking forward to helping this already thriving business progress even further," says Suzanne.

"This is an exciting time to be joining Taylor Wimpey, and this particular region is one of the largest, busiest and most successful in the company.

"Many people might think that the housing market is struggling at the moment because of the economic downturn, but despite some difficult conditions, things are going really well here in the East Midlands.

"I'm fortunate enough to have a good, experienced team here which has been in place for some time - and that will certainly make my job easier."

Taylor Wimpey East Midlands is seeking to build on its sales success of recent months by purchasing land for development across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Peterborough. The housebuilder has acquired more than 1,000 development plots in the last nine months.

Suzanne adds: "We have a lot of fantastic new homes developments coming soon throughout the region, and we have secured a lot of prime land in great locations, which I think says a lot about the strength of the market in the East Midlands.

"To join a business in such a positive position is very encouraging, because it shows we are going forward strongly without fear. There are also some really good disciplined structures in place across the company, so I know we're heading in the right direction and the future is looking bright."
