Whether it's handcrafted Christmas cards, or freshly baked mince pies for Santa, the seasonal market at Bernard Court in Holmes Chapel is sure to get you feeling festive with its exceptional array of local fayre on offer.
Hosted by retirement specialist McCarthy & Stone, the event on 24th November will bring together businesses and craftspeople from throughout Cheshire to celebrate the very best in locally sourced winter produce.
With stalls offering jewellery, homemade chutneys, handmade chocolates, bespoke wooden homeware, Christmas Cards, plants and cakes, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, with even the chance to help the UK's leading children's charity, Barnardo's.
Fiona Brooks, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy & Stone, comments: "Christmas is a time for giving and for celebrating family, so we very much want to give something back to the disadvantaged children in our area, who might not be looking forward to it as much as the rest of us.
"If every person who pops along to Bernard Court to peruse the stalls could bring with them a small new toy that we can then donate to a local Barnardo's project, then together we truly will be able to spread some festive cheer and make this Christmas a very merry one indeed."
Visitors are invited to attend the market in the residents' lounge between 11am until 4pm, however, the sales office will be able to receive toy donations anytime between 10.30 and 5pm, Tuesday until Saturday, in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Barnardo's provides much needed support for over 100,000 children across 400 projects nationally and is McCarthy & Stone's 'Charity of the Year'. The retirement developer aims to raise at least £50,000 for Barnardo's across its 150 UK developments throughout the course of the next 12 months.
Ideally situated on Chester Road, Bernard Court enjoys an excellent location that benefits from a delightful rural setting complete with all local amenities including a Newsagent, Convenience Store, Library, Pharmacy and Health Centre.
