Home-hunters looking for property for sale in Gillingham can take advantage of a wide range of helpful incentives at Taylor Wimpey's popular Mistletoe Court development.

Taylor Wimpey is offering would-be movers help they need to make an easy move to its sought-after Mistletoe Court development of new homes for sale in Gillingham, Kent - whatever their circumstances.

First-time buyers and those with a property to sell can take advantage of helpful homebuyer incentives to guarantee an affordable and hassle-free way to secure their perfect Gillingham property at this stunning development of three and four-bedroom houses.

The popular FirstBuy incentive, for example, is designed to help those who are finding it hard to get a foot on the property ladder purchase selected new build homes in Gillingham at Mistletoe Court.

For existing homeowners in search of new houses for sale in Gillingham, meanwhile, Taylor Wimpey's easymover initiative sees the housebuilder find a buyer for a current property in just a few weeks - and even cover the cost of estate agents' fees and removals.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: "Our homebuying initiatives are designed to make moving a stress-free and simple process for a range of different property-seekers.

"First-time buyers, for example, may find the large deposits required by mortgage lenders to be a barrier to them owning their first home. But with FirstBuy, purchasers need to put down just a 5% deposit on the price of their new home at Mistletoe Court.

"I would also advise sellers who have had their home on the market for some time to consider using easymover. This brilliant initiative sees us find a buyer on behalf of the vendor, who can then look forward to a quick and easy move to a brand new Taylor Wimpey home.

"All incentives at Mistletoe Court can be tailored to suit each individual buyer and their circumstances, but with only a limited number of homes available through FirstBuy and easymover, I would urge all interested customers to visit the development as soon as possible to avoid missing out."

Under the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme, selected new Taylor Wimpey homes at Mistletoe Court can be accessed by eligible first-time buyers for 80% of the full price, including a 75% mortgage and a 5% deposit, subject to status.

The spacious three-bedroom 'Marram' townhouse, for example, can be accessed by qualifying purchasers for 80% of its £178,500 purchase price under the FirstBuy scheme - that's just £142,800 - including a deposit of only £8,925.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage.

The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

While it takes about seven months to sell a typical home on the open market in the local area*, easymover customers can expect their house to sell within a matter of weeks.

Ninety per cent of properties are sold successfully through the initiative, the typical timescale from sale to exchange of contracts is just 10 weeks, and Taylor Wimpey can even cover the cost of estate agents' fees and pay for a full removals service.

Incentives are available on selected plots only and are subject to availability, terms and conditions. Full details can be obtained from the Sales Executive.

Three-bedroom homes are available to reserve now at the development from as little as £175,500, while prices for four-bedroom houses start at only £194,995.

Mistletoe Court enjoys a prime position within walking distance of Gillingham town centre, and is conveniently located for access to a wide range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and leisure and entertainment facilities.

Just a short distance away is Gillingham Marina and the popular Strand Leisure Park, which boasts a variety of family attractions including crazy golf, a miniature railway, a leisure pool, children's play areas, picnic grounds and sports pitches.

Schools for children of all ages are located close by and Gillingham railway station is less than a mile away, providing regular services to London St Pancras in around 40 minutes.

To find out more about the homebuyer incentives available at Mistletoe Court, property-seekers can visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Christmas Street, Gillingham, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
