On Saturday 21st January, retirees and their families in Newport are being invited to an exclusive preview of McCarthy & Stone's newest retirement development, Butter Cross Court on Stafford Street.
The event will be the first opportunity for anyone interested in finding out more about retirement living, to come and see for themselves just what life at the development is all about.
Visitors can pop into the development anytime between 11am and 4pm throughout the event, and after taking a good look around the fully furnished show complex and communal facilities, relax in the residents' lounge with a complimentary glass of bubbly.
Sue Blackman, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone commented: "We're excited to be officially marking the launch of Butter Cross Court and are keen to show off the delightful properties we have on offer here. The development has already proven popular, with more than 25% of the apartments reserved off-plan to our priority enquirers.
"Buying at our new development will provide the ideal opportunity for the over 60's to retain their independence and make the most out of their retirement by reducing the time spent on maintenance of their home. We would urge anyone interested to bring their friends and family along to this event and find out more about how easy buying a new property with McCarthy & Stone could be."
Retirement Living from McCarthy & Stone is designed to offer the over 60's the freedom to enjoy their retirement to the fullest, safe in the knowledge that they still own their own home.
Butter Cross Court is a development of 53 one and two bedroom apartments. Residents can enjoy landscaped gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family or friends to stay at the development's guest suite. There is also a house manager who will oversee the running and maintenance of the building.
Newport is a quaint market town in the borough of Telford and Wrekin and sits on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border. The development is situated less than 150 yards from the town centre shops and an extensive bus route is available for transport to neighbouring towns.
The first residents are due to move in at the end of January.
