Taylor Wimpey is encouraging savvy first-time buyers to avoid paying stamp duty by moving fast to purchase selected new homes for sale in Birstall, Leicestershire, at Cedar Walk.

Aspiring home-owners could make hefty savings on the price of their dream property if they act quickly at Taylor Wimpey's Cedar Walk development of new build homes in Birstall, near Leicester.

Stamp duty is currently suspended for first-time buyers purchasing new homes for sale in Leicestershire below £250,000, but from 24th March the one per cent tax is being reintroduced on all homes costing between £125,000 and £250,000.
