First time buyers in Manchester can get all the advice they need this weekend (January 21 / 22) about purchasing a home with FirstBuy- even if they don't have a large deposit.

Lovell is devoting a whole weekend to telling would be home owners how the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme could help them to buy their first home at The Way, in Beswick.

There will even be an independent financial advisor on hand to talk to them about their mortgage options.

Homes at The Way enjoy a vibrant location around a mile from the city centre but minus the high price tag.

Elaine Taylor, regional sales manager for Lovell said: "The FirstBuy scheme is a fantastic way for first time buyers to get on the property ladder, even if they have not saved a deposit. They will receive a loan for 20% of the purchase price, jointly funded by us and the Government, meaning they may only need up to a 5% deposit and apply for a 75 to 80% mortgage. However, they will still own 100% of their new home from day one.

"With a smaller mortgage, there's the potential for better interest rates and lower monthly mortgage payments."

FirstBuy is available to first time buyers or people wanting to return to home ownership, provided their household earnings are less that £60,000 a year.

Visitors to The Way over the weekend can find out even more about the scheme and get answers to any questions they may have. They can also view a stylish new show Goldley show home, which show cases the high specification interiors of the properties.

Stylish three-bedroom houses are available from £149,995 or an initial outlay of just £119,996 with FirstBuy. All homes offer secure parking and many have gardens.

The Way is a contemporary development, which achieves a rare balance between city life and quiet surroundings. Each home is beautifully designed to create light and space in every room. Located on the edge of Manchester city centre, its superb restaurants, world famous nightlife, music venues and sporting arenas are just moments away. The A635 offers easy access both into the city and to the M60.

For more information about Lovell and its help for first time buyers visit the sales office and new show home on January 21 and 22 between 10am and 5pm.
