First time buyers in Rugeley are being given the opportunity to learn about the government's FirstBuy scheme at a special event held by Barratt West Midlands.
Between 10am and 5pm on the weekend of February 4th, sales advisors and mortgage experts will be available to answer questions on the scheme, which is looking to help 10,500 people over the next two years.
The event is being held at the Bracken Gardens development on Armitage Road that features a range of one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom houses.
Lisa Preston, sales manager for Barratt West Midlands, said FirstBuy aims to "provide financial assistance to buyers in a range of circumstances, whether you're having difficulty finding a deposit or are simply looking for lower monthly mortgage repayments".
Barratt also offers Part Exchange at the properties in Bracken Gardens for those looking to move up the property ladder.
Under the scheme, the housebuilder will purchase an existing property for 100 per cent of its market value, guaranteeing a buyer and removing the cost of estate agent fees.
